Welcome to the Long Beach Rod and Gun Club.  We pride ourselves on not just being hunters and fishermen, but of being true conservationist.  Whether it is doing beach clean ups, teaching classes on firearms safety or the many various types of hunting or fresh and saltwater fishing, we excel at bringing new enthusiast into the great outdoor world we so dearly love.

     When you walk into one of our classes such as the NRA Pistol, Rifle, or Shotgun classes, you are being taught by volunteers with decades of experience in the field or on the boat including military and law enforcement officers.  As you are taught in our California Hunters Safety Course, the true and final stage of a hunter’s development is when they aspire to become mentors and teachers of the great outdoors.

    Our friendship and camaraderie are found in the various social events we have such as our Christmas, Halloween, Super Bowl parties.  Our wine tasting event, Fish Fry or Hawaiian Luau to mention a few. This is topped off by our community volunteer work with the El Dorado Kids fishing tournament, Beach cleanups, and California Costal Association events.

    Our monthly range days are open to everyone with expert instruction available free. Do not have a firearm, No Problem.  Do not have a rod and reel, No Problem.  Show up with an honest desire to learn and share in fellowship with likeminded folks and we will get you involved in no time.
